Bishop of Sedlescombe

Also Bisshop, Bisshopp, Bishope, Byshop, Bysshop, Bysshopp, Byshoppe etc.......

Iím interested in the Bishops of Sedlescombe, specifically Sarah Bishop who was the sister of William Bishop (1585-1664). I believe Sarah Bishop was one my direct ancestors, Sarah married John Smyth 2 Nov 1619 in Framfield. John & Sarah Smythís daughter Mary Smyth was baptized 9 Nov 1623 in Framfield and later married William Stone (1623-1885) of Framfield. Iím also interested in Elizabeth Hawes who married William Bishop (1585-1664).

The Sussex O.P.C. has some transcription of Wills of Bishops who lived in Sedlescombe. Go to the Sedlescombe page and look under Wills.
